DJ’s charging less than this are likely weekend warriors who do not have insurance, backup staff or equipment. DJ’s that are charging over $1000 are likely large companies who are passing their advertising and administrative costs onto the client. The bottom line is hiring a company that will answer your questions quickly, listen to your likes and dislikes and both you and the DJ company are comfortable with another.
