GREAT JOB!!!!!

I was very nervous about finding a DJ service for my wedding. I was not sure what to ask, or what exactly I was looking for. After interviewing MANY other DJ services, my husband and I were getting very discouraged. We felt that no one understood what we were looking for, or wanted to be a part of this special day with us. That is until we had our first meeting with Samantha and James. They listened to us gave us so much helpful information and ideas, that we would have never of came up with on our own. James was wonderful with the crowd at our wedding. When no one was going out on the dance floor, I was getting upset. James started playing games with them and teaching new dances. Before I knew it there was a whole bunch of people that came out of their shells and got on the dance floor. I also can not say enough about Samantha. She helped me through so many BRIDEZILLA MELTDOWNS!. I can honestly say that I might not have made it through the day with out her help. Every problem I had ,she had a solution. James and Samantha joined us for our wedding in Frankenmuth on July 4, 2009. They did both my pre-ceremony, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception and provided OUTSTANDING service. I liked the fact that I could look at my account and have access to my account at any time. They provided me with checklist and worksheets online for things that I NEVER even thought about!! They even worked with my brother-n-law so he could perform during the reception. I can't say enough good things. Every girl dreams of this day from the time she is little, we want it to be perfect. I researched over 30 DJ's and Michigan DJ Service was the ONLY one who could meet my budget, stay the entire day & evening, provide awesome lighting effects, returned my calls and e-mails very promptly, and allowed me to pick over 80 songs for the ceremony & reception, and didn't miss one. I was provided with a cd of all the music for the ceremony so we could have it for the dinner rehearsal. Lastly, they were the only company that allowed me to meet with the actual DJ who was to perform for the wedding, prior to the event. NO REGRETS! AWSOME!! PROFESSIONAL!! What did they do to "keep the party going?"

They played all the songs I wanted to hear, and really gaged the reactions and dancing of our wedding guests. We also had the upgraded lights and they really made everything that much more fun.

How much did the band / DJ interact as a part of the wedding?

They had exactly the right amount of interaction that I had requested, making announcements.

What was your favorite song / dance?

I really liked the range of music played: rock, waltzes, polkas, alternative, and new hits. I really didn't have a favorite.

What did they do to "keep the party going?"

Played the right mix of music for all of our guests, which ranged from 3-95! They also used all sorts of lights, which kept my grandparents at the reception until the end! They enjoyed the combination of lights, music and the people dancing. Samantha even asked them if there was a song that they'd like to hear, and made sure to play their favorite Glenn Miller song.

How much did the band / DJ interact as a part of the wedding?

Just the right amount. We asked ahead of time that only announcements were to be made, because we didn't want anything over the top or announcer-like. They kept things going with the music they played, and since I didn't give them much input, I can't even take credit for the awesome songs they played for us! ;)

What was your favorite song / dance?

Our first dance...I loved the introduction and the lights they used for it, it made it even more special! Even though our song was short, we felt like we were all alone on the dance floor, it was truly memorable for us!

They played all the greatest 80s dance music and techno! All my friends thought they were the best DJ service they ever had seen. They were both easy going and really really nice!

The Djs were a blast. They did everything right! The lighting was great! sound blew me away.

There were too many songs to come up with one. I loved the Flock of Segals "I Ran" Kid Rock. "when you love someone" I loved the cha cha slide and the cuben hustle. I never had dance soo much in my life! IT ROCKED!!!

It seemed like as they played different songs they noticed the crowd's reaction and used that to figure out what songs to play next. Everybody, from the youngsters to the grandparents enjoyed the music and commented on it later.

How much did the band / DJ interact as a part of the wedding?

Not too terribly much, made necessary announcements, said a few nice word to the guests. I wasn't looking for a cheesy crowd interaction DJ anyway. They were professional, not cheesy.

What was your favorite song / dance?

Too many to choose! Just when I thought "Oh, that song was great!" they'd play another that I completely forgot about that I loved too!

The anniversary dance to Remember When by Alan Jackson. They did a really great job with that, and all of our guests loved it!

Shawn and I thought you guys were really good DJ service. You arrived on time and early like you said. The equipment was really amazing, The lighting blew me away. The sound was perfect. . It was perfect for our wedding. You guys have really made the wedding a hit. With out you guys the wedding would of been lame. You both had played all the songs we had our list and also took request for the guest. The music tool list was really helpful for what type of music we were looking for. You both were very easy to work with during our wedding process. Shawn and I cant say thank you enough. Im just glad there are people in this state, like you and your company, who treat everyone with respect and dignity! You are treating us the same way you would a straight couple and affording us the same experience and I am truly appreciative! I had a party with your dj Kyle on Saturday night. everything went perfectly. Kyle was there on time , early in fact. which was fine cause I had to sit there for a couple hours anyway while all the kids for the party were being picked up by other adults. the weather was bad and I understood his early arrival. better early then late ya know. anyway, the sound was perfect of course, Bose never disappoints. Ryan, the guy who the party was for, loved the music, so the online planning tool obviously helped him out. he also played requests through out the night. he even played a guns n roses disk for me while we were sitting there alone waiting for the people to get there. i had to get a dose of the music i like before i had to endure a night of techno and rap. but.. that's what Ryan wanted to hear so it all turned out perfectly. absolutely no complaints or concerns on my part, nor did i hear of any negativities concerning the DJ. he was very friendly and offered to help us clean up as the night ended.  so I will certainly keep your company in mind for any future gatherings we may have. it was a good price with a good dj...what more could anyone ask for.. thanks again....jay
